Boston Celtics -11 Point Spread (-108)
Prepare for a new look Hornets team on Friday night. Charlotte dealt Mason Plumlee and Jalen McDaniels yesterday which downsized their roster dramatically. They got Reggie Jackson in return from the Plumlee trade, but the last thing the Hornets need is another smaller guard. But even with Plumlee and McDaniels in the last four games, Charlotte went 0-4 which featured several bad losses to the Bulls, Pistons, Magic and Wizards. A big reason for that is their offense which has been atrocious, as they rank 28th in offensive rating and 30th in EFG% in the last five games. They take on a Celtics team that has won four of their last five games and just beat the 76ers without four starters in the second half. While Jaylen Brown will remain out with a facial contusion, Robert Williams and Al Horford are expected back in the lineup on Friday. The Celitcs beat the Hornets by 12 points a few weeks ago in Charlotte, and Brown did not play, which allowed Jayson Tatum to go off for 51 points. N ow at home, Boston should once again secure the double-digit win.
