The Rangers are having a great season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.24 goals per game with 12 goals in their last three games. Artemi Panarin, Mika Zibanejad, and Vincent Trocheck have scored 61 goals and 100 assists to lead the top two lines but the entire offense has been great. Chris Kreider, Alexis Lafreniere, and Blake Wheeler have combined for 45 goals and 52 assists while defensemen Adam Fox and Erik Gustafsson have added 12 goals and 48 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great while the defense has also been remarkable, allowing only 2.78 goals per game including only four goals in their last three games. K'Andre Miller and Jacob Trouba have combined for 5.9 defensive point shares and 189 blocked shots while Adam Fox, Ryan Lindgren, and Erik Gustafsson have combined for 7.6 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. The hope is that goaltender Igor Shesterkin can improve as he's struggled with a .899 save percentage and a 2.86 goals-against average on 889 shots with -4.5 goals saved above average.
