N.Y. Islanders  vs. Philadelphia Flyers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-6-2023

The New York Islanders face the Philadelphia Flyers with both teams looking to improve in the Metropolitan Division. The Islanders have a 25-22-5 record and are in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division while the Flyers have a 21-21-9 record and are in seventh place in the division. Both teams are looking to rebound in the division and the Eastern Conference as they return from the All-Star break and the upcoming game should be a good one as a result.

The Islanders are having a rocky season with their offense struggling, scoring only 2.85 goals per game. Brock Nelson, Anders Lee, and Mathew Barzal have scored 50 goals and 74 assists but the rest of the offense has struggled. Moreover, goaltender Ilya Sorokin is having a remarkable season with a .923 save percentage and a 2.38 goals-against average on 1124 shots wit h 20.2 goals saved above average.
