The Pirates have scored four runs or fewer in 22 of their last 28 games. They face Cardinals starter Jordan Montgomery who has a 3.46 road ERA compared to a 5.74 home ERA. The Cardinals' offense scores only 4.1 runs per game away from home compared to 5.5 at home. Rays vs. Red Sox (-110) Game 1. Greg’s Line: Rays -124. Red Sox starter Garrett Whitlock has struggled with a 5.14 ERA, which is lower than his 5.52 FIP, getting just 6.3 strikeouts per nine innings with 2.1 home runs per nine innings. The Rays lead the league in home runs to back up Cooper Criswell, who will make a bulk appearance with Trevor Kelley serving as the opener in the first game of a day/night doubleheader. Guardians vs. Twins (-130). Greg’s Line: Twins -162. The Guardians are scoring the second-fewest runs per game of any team in the league and have to face the only qualifying American League pitcher that has yet to allow a home run, Sonny Gray. Gray has a 1.94 ERA with 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings and his 2.19 FIP is also the best among qualifying American League pitchers. Yankees (-125) vs. Dodgers. Greg’s Line: Yankees -158. The New York Yankees are second in the American League in runs per game since Aaron Judge's return on May 9 and lead the league in home runs in that time. They face a starting pitcher in Michael Grove who has an 8.44 ERA and is making his first start since April 20 due to injury.
