MLB Player Props: Best Baseball Player Props for August 5th

Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while you're at it, is by betting MLB player props. We split our props yesterday and took a small loss of .34u but overall, we're plus a little over 6 units the last three days. Best Baseball Player Props for August 5th

In line with my previous props, I'm going really aggressive with the NL Batting Champion & MVP front runner Paul Goldschmidt. Goldy has recorded a hit in over 75% of all his games this season and he has the league's 3rd most total hits at 125 so far. He has the luxury of batting 3rd in the order which has helped him accumulate 82 RBI on the season, good for 4th in the league. 

That’s not all! Goldschmidt is hitting LHP well this year but the Cards’ first baseman is doing so at an almost unbelievable .471 clip. He'll face lefty Nestor Cortes of the Pinstripes tonight who has been great this year but is allowing RHB to hit over 90 points better than LHB. Cortes has also been hit hard on the road this year and has a road ERA almost a full run higher than in the Bronx.
