MLB Player Props: Best Baseball Player Props for August 16th

Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while you're at it, is by betting MLB player props. Not the start to the week we wanted as only one of our three props hit but it's early. Let's get out of the hole with my choices for the Best Baseball Player Props for August 16th.

Best Baseball Player Props for August 16th

Arenado is once again putting up tremendous numbers batting almost .300, with 25 HR and 73 RBI so far this season. He's really picked it up since July batting over .340 and recording a hit in 24 of the 32 games since then. Even better than that, Nolan is batting almost .350, has 16 hits, and at least one hit in 10 of the 12 games during August.

Tonight he faces his former team the Rockies and Kyle Freeland who allowed 10 hits and 6 runs against the Cardinals on August 10th. Arenado went 2-for-3 off him that game and is 5-for-14 against Colorado, with a hit in all three of their games. I'm still not a fan of these short lines, but Nolan is way too good of a hitter not to play a line that should be around -275 or so.
