The MLB Trade Deadline jus passed and we have a new darling of the league down in San Diego. Their humongous acquisition of Juan Soto has propelled them up to around 12 to 10/1 to win the World Series but I'm focused on another NL West team to possibly raise the trophy. The Dodgers have been one of the favorites to win this season's World Series and even after seeing divisional foe San Diego add Bell and Soto, should still be. All of the attention is focused on those Padres right now with their odds plunging from close to 40/1 prior to the trade deadline all the way down to 10 – 12/1. The time to jump on LA is now especially with these tickets which are on par with market value.
LA is 11.5 games up on the Pads in the West and are 5 games clear of the Mets for the top spot in the NL. They have Major League Baseball's top pitching staff which has a 2.98 ERA . The team is allowing just 3.28 runs/gm while scoring the 2nd most runs/gm at 5.27. This team is loaded with stars who all have a tremendous amount of playoff experience and quite honestly, aren’t scared of San Diego's new addition. Soto is just 3-for-20 against them this season, and is batting only .213 during his career against the Dodgers.
