The Minnesota Timberwolves (35-15, 2nd in the West) take a short trip to play the Chicago Bulls (23-27, 9th in the East) on Tuesday night. Minnesota is coming off a home win over Houston 111-90, covering the spread as 7.5-point favorites. Chicago just dropped a home game to Sacramento, going down 123-115 as 1.5-point home favorites. The Minnesota Timberwolves are part of a historic chase for the number one seed in the Western Conference. Both Minnesota and Oklahoma City have identical 35-15 records at the top the league, while Denver and the LA Clippers are each only a half-game back taking up the top four spots. Minnesota has currently won three of their last four games, and need to keep winning to stay near the top. In their last game, Anthony Edwards led the way with 32 points in the win over the Rockets.

Naz Reid is the top scorer off the bench with 12.3 PPG to lead the second unit. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Kyle Anderson have been getting the majority of the remaining bench minutes recently.
