“Great win. I'm really proud of our team. It was a good football game, a good football team that we beat. I'm really proud of them. I thought we played really good, complementary football, all three phases. I thought we were really good in the kicking game. They're really special talented at wide receiver, they have some elite wide receivers and their quarterbacks can throw it. I thought we did a good job for the most part of keeping the ball in front of us and making them go the long way with their plays. We dind't give them anything easy. Offensively, I thought we were very consistent. I thought our offensive line played their best game. We pr otected really well. I thought our backs did a really good job in pass protection also. But I thought our offensive line was really good in pass protection and they were good in the run game too. It was a really really satisfying win.” Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill said after the win.
