Marist has fallen out of the race in the MAAC as the Red Foxes have dropped six of their last seven games. They are now just 4-10 in the conference and mired in eighth place in the standings. On Friday night, Marist trailed from the opening possession and fell 67-56 to last year's NCAA Tournament darling Saint Peter's. Patrick Gardner led the way for Marist with a stat stuffing performance. Gardner had 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists to go along with two steals and two blocked shots. The team shot just 31% from the floor in the loss.

On the season, the Red Foxes are ranked just ninth in the conference in scoring offense. They are also just ninth in three-point shooting.
