Problems continued for the Lakers as it appears that LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook will not be able mesh as a unit. In Wednesday's loss, Westbrook did not join a huddle of the five players on the court called by Patrick Beverley.

Scotty Pippen Jr., the son of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, is battling for a spot on the Lakers roster.'
Sacramento concludes its NBA preseason schedule when hosting Los Angeles on Friday. The Kings are a perfect 3-0 in the preseason following a 105-104 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. De'Aaron Fox was the leading scorer for Sacramento with 15 points, while Kevin Huerter scored 13 points and Harrison Barnes chipped in with 12 points. Domantas Sabonis pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds for the Kings.
Sacramento played each of its members of the starting five at least 20 minutes as the club is gearing up for a strong start to the regular season.
