Lakers vs. Clippers NBA Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions for Wednesdayiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Our Lakers vs. Clippers NBA player props based on the best NBA odds expect a tough night for Kawhi Leonard but a strong showing from D'Angelo Russell in the Battle of Los Angeles.

For 25 seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers have shared the iconic venue currently known as Crypto.com Arena. They'll face off for the final time as “housemates” in Wednesday's NBA nightcap, which tips off at 10 p.m. on ESPN.

The Clippers (37-19) have been the better of the two this season, which marks their last before moving to their brand-new arena in Inglewood, CA. But they struggled in three previous head-to-head meetings with the Lakers (31-28), who could sweep the season series for the first time in over a decade.

Neither team will be at full strength for Wednesday's duel, with Paul George (knee) out for the Clippers and seven players – inc luding LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (illness) – carrying an injury designation for the Lakers. Which players will step up accordingly?

In addition to our NBA best bets for Wednesday, here are our best Lakers vs. Clippers NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our

Lakers vs. Clippers props

Let me make something clear: I'm not playing the Under on Leonard's scoring prop because George is sidelined. Rather, I'm fading a total that appears to be an overreaction to the superster's absence.

George was on the bench in the Clippers' loss to the Sacramento Kings o n Sunday, and Leonard scored only 20 points on 7-for-18 shooting. It was his sixth straight game below this total – during which he's shot 48.4% from the field and 29.2% from deep to spell a 2-4 record for Los Angeles in those games.

Leonard hasn't looked like the NBA MVP odds candidate that we saw before the All-Star break, and George's absence doesn't suddenly change that. With this prop dealing at even money or worse across the rest of our best sports betting sites, I love the plus-money value on Leonard's slump continuing Wednesday.

Russell has been one of the NBA's most prolific marksmen over the last two months, and he's feasted on the Clippers' defense in their previous three meetings.

Since Jan. 1, Russell ranks fifth in made 3-pointers (82) and 18th in attempts (185), and his percentage from deep (44.3%) is the best of any player in the top 30 in attempts. He&# 39;s made at least three triples in three straight games, and he's hit that mark in each of his last three games against these rivals.

The Clippers have also allowed the second-most made threes to opposing point guards over their last 15 games, which coincides with the team's overall downturn after a red-hot run before the break. I don't expect their defense to get any better Wednesday with George sidelined, either.

This prop is dealing as short as -137 across our best sports betting apps, so sign me up for these -110 odds via BetMGM on another hot night for Russell.

We whiffed on a similar bet on Josh Giddey on Tuesday, but I can't help but be compelled by what I've seen from Harden on the defensive end.

The 10-time All-Star has been a menace defensively, blocking at least one shot in 14 of his last 18 games (77.8%) and 31 of 51 starts overall this season (60.8%) . Harden didn't have one in Sunday's loss to Sacramento, but he combined for 10 blocks in three previous games without George and had at least two in each contest.

To me, that signals an effort from Harden to compensate for his teammate's absence, and I wouldn't be surprised in the least with a similar showing Wednesday. If you're feeling ambitious, you can find +460 odds via FanDuel on another multi-block effort, but this price on one measly block is too good to ignore.
