The Old Dominion Monarchs (13-9, 5-5) will host the James Madison Dukes (15-8, 6-4) on Thursday in a Sun Belt Conference matchup. These teams will meet again on February 16.
James Madison is on a two-game winning streak after beating Coastal Carolina (75-69) and UL Monroe (58-45) in home games. The Dukes are currently tied for fourth in the Sun Belt, two games behind Southern Miss and Louisiana who are both tied for first. They will now look to keep the run going on the road, where they are 5-5 this season.

Overall James Madison is 93rd in the KenPom ratings, 64th in adjusted defensive efficiency, and 151st offensively. The Dukes are 10th scoring 82.9 ppg, and 36th making 47.7% from the floor. The defense is also in the top 100 on defense in fewest points allowed, opponents field goal percentage, and three-point percentage allowed. Vado Morse leads the team with 13 ppg, followed by Terrence Edwards with 12.3 ppg.
