Jack Della Maddalena has quickly become one of the most exciting welterweights today. The 26-year-old Australian has won 14 consecutive bouts after an 0-2 start to his career, which includes going 5-0 in the UFC. He's finished his last four opponents in the opening round, most recently submitting Randy Brown at UFC 284.
Josiah Harrell, on the other hand, has a lot to prove in his UFC debut this weekend. The up-and-comer has yet to taste defeat in his MMA career and has knocked out his previous three opponents. Nevertheless, he hasn't faced an opponent yet on Della Maddalena's level.
As much potential as Harrell may have, I'm taking Della Maddalena to win. He's run through his UFC opponents thus far with each man being tougher than what Harrell brings to the table. The odds are lopsided for a reason and the favorite will prove that with a quick victory in Sin City.
