Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Kyle Schwarber
Philadelphia Phillies left fielder Kyle Schwarber finished the regular season with a .197 batting average, 47 home runs and 104 RBI across 717 plate appearances.
Schwarber has posted similar statistics during the post season with a .172 batting average (5-29), one home run and two RBI. He has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 5 of 7 games.
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly posted a 12-8 record during the regular season campaign with a 3.29 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 187 strikeouts across 177.2 innings of work. He was lights out in his lone playoff start with 6.1 innings of scoreless baseball against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Kelly has gotten the better of Schwarber throughout his career, holding him to 1-7 (.143) with four strikeouts and no extra-base hits. It’s basically all or nothing for Schwarber, if you keep him in the yard, he doesn’t clear this total.
Kelly has only allowed 20 home runs in 180+ innings of work including the postseason and he will be locked in tonight. Look for another Schwarber under tonight.

Pham is hitting .269 (7-26) during the postseason with a lone home run and RBI. He has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 3 out of his 6 playoff games.
Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola finished the regular season with a 12-9 record, 4.46 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 202 strikeouts across 193.2 innings pitched. Nola has held his own in two postseason starts with a 1-0 record, 1.42 ERA and 12 strikeouts across 12.2 innings of work.
Pham has struggled against Nola throughout his career, going only 1-9 (.111) with three strikeouts and no extra-base hits.
All of Pham’s playoff production basically came in one game and he’s been neutralized in the other handful of games.
Nola is veteran pitcher who has been here before, but he knows that these opportunities aren’t guaranteed. Look for Nola to shine and continue his dominance over Pham, holding him under 1.5 HRR.
