Heat vs. Nets Odds, Picks, Predictions: Tight Game Expected in Brooklyniv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Brooklyn Nets have lost four of their last five games as they head into a home matchup against the Miami Heat. Here are the best Heat vs. Nets NBA picks based on the best NBA odds.

The new-look Nets have lost four of their last five games, as all the team's new faces try to mesh with the remaining impactful players. In their last three games, the Nets have been led in scoring by either Spencer Dinwiddie or Mikal Bridges, two players who were acquired from other teams earlier this month. However, they lost two of those three games.

Perhaps the Nets will be able to get on the winning side tonight as they take on a Heat team that is without Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo, Tyler Herro, and Nikola Jovic. Duncan Robinson is listed as questionable. Even with all those injuries, the Heat will still have their two leading scorers in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

Heat vs. Nets pick

The problem with a game like this is that all season-long stats pretty much need to be thrown out. The Nets are a completely different team than they were at the beginning of February, and with all the injuries for the Heat, it's hard to know what Miami is going to bring to the court.

Player props may seem enticing on a night like Wednesday, especially for Butler or Adebayo. However, both of their lines are listed above their season average, and it's hard to know if they will hit those numbers or if this will just be a low-scoring game.

As for the total, the Heat will be without 49.3 points on Wednesday night due to all the injuries. That may make the Under seem like an obvious play, but the line is already set very low, and it would not be surprising to see a score similar to 107-106, which would send this Over.

This game really is a toss-up, but we're going to go with the Nets in what is essentially a pick 'em. Brooklyn may not have a superstar, but it has a lot of talented players who, once they start to mesh, can keep the Nets in the mix for a playoff berth.

The Heat are the better team when fully healthy, but they're not healthy Wednesday, and they're playing in Brooklyn. Because of that, Nets -1 is the best pick for this game, even if it's hard to be confident in it.

Heat vs. Nets best odds

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
-1 -1 -1.5 -1 -1.5
-110 -110 -105 -110 -110

There isn't much difference between each of the five major sportsbooks. PointsBet and BetMGM both have the Nets favored by 1.5, which is a half-point more than the other three books. Though DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars all have the same spread, DraftKings is offering the best price on the Moneyline.

It is still more expensive than taking the Nets to cover the spread, so there is really no reason to take the ML. Keep an eye on it, and if it remains around -115 and the spread moves to a full basket, then take the ML.

Heat vs. Nets odds analysis

The Heat opened as 1.5-point favorites, but after their injury report was revealed, the line quickly shifted in favor of the Nets. This happened despite 65% of bettors backing the Heat. Oddsmakers so blatantly disregarding the public trends signals that this may be a trap line, which very much favors a Nets win.

The number opened at 211.5 and it has gone up at some of the major sportsbooks while staying right where it opened at others. Don't expect much more movement, as 54% of bets are on the Under, and it seems injuries were already factored into this total.
