Harvard at Kansas – 12/22/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Harvard Crimson and Kansas Jayhawks face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Allen Fieldhouse. 

Harvard comes into this game with an 8-4 record overall and they have gone 5-5 against the spread. In the last game against UC Irvine, Harvard scored 62 points and that was enough to win by five points. Harvard is averaging 67.8 points while their defense is giving up 63.1 points per agme. The defense is elite and is ranked 54th in college basketball. Chris Ledlum has been the top player for Harvard averaging 18.8 points while shooting 53.3 percent from the field. There are four different players that are averaging at least eight points per game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Kansas who sits with an 10-1 record and they have gone 5-6 against the spread. Kansas scored 84 points against Indiana in the last game, and 22 point victory. Gradey Dick had another strong game finishing with 20 points and six rebounds. There were six different players that scored at least 10 points. The Jayhawks are averaging 79.8 points while their defense is giving up 65.3 points per game. Jalen Wilson is having a huge season averaging 21.1 points while shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from behind the three point line. Dick is one of the best three point shooters in the country, and if he is given any space he will make Harvard pay.
