America's mobile sportsbook apps: Some are good and some are, well … “not so good” would be a charitable way of saying it. So when a company redesigns its app – or, in the case of Hard Rock Bet, its entire branding – you'll forgive me if I yawn.
That was the reaction I had when I was asked to write about Hard Rock Sportsbook's conversion to Hard Rock Bet. I yawned. Definitely figuratively; perhaps literally. But I have a job to do, so I endeavored to write about how this sportsbook that operates in Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and New Jersey changed everything about its app, and blah-dee-blah-blah-blah.
Welp, I shouldn't have yawned. I also shouldn't have blah-dee-blah'ed. Why? Because as it turns out, Hard Rock Bet is, to my eye, the sleekest sportsbook app I have access to in my home state of New Jersey. Perhaps even more importantly, it is, by far, the quickest.
