Group F Odds, Schedule & Predictions for 2022 World Cup (Kevin De Bruyne Keeps Building Momentum With Belgium)

The 2022 World Cup is here, and that means soccer fans will have their eyes on Qatar over the next two months.

First up on the docket is group stage action with eight groups of fo ur teams each playing a round-robin to determine which two teams will advance to the knockout stage.

A ton of soccer fans will be focused closely on Group F action, which consists of Belgium, Canada, Morocco and Croatia. We've also gone ahead and ranked them by FanDuel Sportsbook's World Cup odds for each team to win the group.

World Cup Group F Teams and Odds

  1. Belgium (-125)
  2. Croatia (+210)
  3. Morocco (+950)
  4. Canada (+1100)

The odds paint Belgium as the favorite to win Group F, but Croatia is by no means a big underdog. The December matchup between those two teams will go a long way toward determining a victor. Morocco and Canada are expected to battle it out for third place with little hope to advance at this point.

World Cup Group F Schedule

  • Belgium vs Canada (2:00 p.m. ET)
  • Belgium vs Morocco (8:00 a.m. ET)
  • Croatia vs Canada (11:00 a.m. ET)
  • Croatia vs Belgium (10:00 a.m. ET)
  • Canada vs Morocco (10:00 a.m. ET)

World Cup Group F Prediction

Belgium is the favorite in Group F for a reason. The No. 2 team in FIFA's world rankings is one of only three squads to make the quarterfinals in each of the last two World Cups. Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku line up as one of the most dangerous goal-scoring duos in the sport of soccer.

C roatia is capable of giving Belgium a run for its money, but it is an aging squad. Ivan Perisic, Andrej Kramaric and Luka Modric are all over the age of 30 and past their primes. Head coach Zlatko Dalic will have to look to young studs like 20-year-old defender Josko Gvardiol to take on a bigger role.

The good news for Croatia is that Morocco and Canada should not present much of a challenge. While Hakim Ziyech remains a great player for Morocco, he is not surrounded by scoring threats. Meanwhile, Canada is making its first appearance since 1986. Adjustments will need to be made.

I expect Belgium to cruise through group play and for a veteran Croatia team to secure the second spot.

Group A Standings Prediction:

  1. Belgium (3-0-0)
  2. Croatia (1-1-1)
  3. Morocco (0-2-1)
  4. Canada (0-1-2)
