George Washington at Washington State – 12/22/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The George Washington Colonials and the Washington State Cougars will meet in Round 1 of the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu from the Stan Sheriff Center on ESPN2.

George Washington improved to 6-4 after taking down regional foe Coppin State in DC. The Colonials pulled away from the Eagles with a big second half, improving to 5-1 at home. George Washingon scores 76.6 points per game, while allowing 69.2 ppg, and shooting 48.1% from the field.

It’s the James Bishop show for GWU once again this season. The dynamic guard already exploded for a career-best 44 points against Hofstra, and dropped 30 points in the win over Coppin State. Bishop is a gamer, and he leads the A10 in scoring (22.2), while dishing out a team-lead 5.6 apg. Fifth-year guard Brendan Adams has been very consistent alongside him, scoring 18 points in the blowout win over South Carolina, and averaging career-highs in scoring (16.9) and assists (5.2).
