The RBC Canadian Open still hasn't reached weekend play yet, but that shouldn't prevent us from looking ahead to the U.S. Open. The third major on the golf calendar is set to tee off on Thursday, June 15 at Los Angeles Country Club.
While almost every top player in the world will be compe ting in California next week, the game's most famous name, Tiger Woods, will miss out as he is still recovering from ankle surgery.
Let's take a look at the odds to win the 2023 U.S. Open, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The majors are always the toughest to wager on, with the best players in the world all laser-focused, i t really is anyone's tournament, and that shows in the odds this year. However, it's hard to ignore the way Brooks Koepka has been playing in the majors. Now seemingly fully healthy again, Koepka is coming off a T2 in The Masters and a win at the PGA Championship. When his game is right, it feels almost guaranteed that he will be in contention at a major and this year's U.S. Open should be no different.
The favorites to win the U.S. Open shouldn't come as a surprise, the top three in the odds are the three guys battling it out for the unofficial best golfer in the world title right now. Scottie Scheffler (+750), Jon Rahm (+850) and Brooks Koepka (+900) are the top three in the odds to win this year's tournament at LACC.
After having ankle surgery ea rlier this year, Woods missed both The Masters and the PGA Championship. That will be the case next week too, as he will not be in the field at the 2023 U.S. Open.
As of now, there are nine past winners in the betting field on FanDuel Sportsbook, including Bryson DeChambeau, Rahm, and Matthew Fitzpatrick, the past three winners, respectively.
