NHL pick today: Toronto Maple Leafs 3-Way ML over Columbus Blue Jackets (-160), 7:00 pm ET
Injuries have continued to be an issue for Columbus, which is a primary reason why their 34 points are 10 less than any other team in the Eastern Conference. They will still be without Jakub Voracek and Zach Werenski, so there isn't much light at the end of the tunnel.
The Leafs did recently take a blow with Auston Matthews' knee injury, but they have more than enough firepower. Mitch Marner, William Nylander and John Tavares would be captains on several other teams. With Toronto's top-10 goaltending and Columbus scoring the 4th-fewest goals per game, backing the Maple Leafs to win in regulation will be the play.
