Florida vs. Auburn Prediction, Pick & Odds: SEC Tournament Championship
Florida vs. Auburn Prediction, Pick & Odds: SEC Tournament Championshipiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Florida and Auburn each won as the favorite in the SEC Tournament semifinals to set up this conference championship matchup, and we offer our best Florida vs. Auburn prediction based on the best college basketball odds.

No. 6 seed Florida had the fifth-best pre-tournament odds (+1600 at FanDuel) to take home its first SEC Tournament title since 2014. The Gators are one win away from that feat after three wins in three days, two of which were by five points.

No. 4 seed Auburn was the much chalkier play with the second-best pre-tournament odds (+240 at FanDuel), and it has won five straight games entering this final. Only one of those wins came by fewer than 14 points. The Tigers are seeking their first SEC Tournament Championship since 2019, their only tournament championship this century.

To accompany our Wisconsin vs. Illinois prediction, here is our best Florida vs. Auburn prediction for the SEC Tournament Championship and our college basketball picks (odds via our best March Madness betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Florida vs. Auburn prediction: SEC Tournament Championship

Best odds: -110 via BetMGM

This SEC Tournament final has a projected O/U of 155.5, with KenPom predicting an 84-77 Auburn victory. Regardless of who is victorious, both teams should score plenty of points, as Auburn scored 86 or more points in seven of its last nine wins, while Florida has averaged 93 points per game over its last five outings.

Auburn has two players ranked in EvanMiya's top 14 in DBPR (Defensive Bayesian Performance Rating). Those are both frontcourt players in Johni Broome and Jaylin Williams, neither of whom will be tasked with slowing down Florida's experienced guards.

Zyon Pullin has scored in do uble figures in all but one game this season and had 18 shot attempts in a 19-point effort in a regular season win over Auburn. He made 14 of his last 24 3-point attempts, and the 86% free throw shooter (eighth-best in the SEC) should also cash in from the charity stripe whenever he gets there.

Conversely, Auburn has a top-10 offense nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency, and we do not expect it to commit 15 turnovers or shoot 3-for-17 from 3-point range as it did in a 65-point output against Florida during the regular season.

Over -108 Over -110 Over -110 Over -110 Over -110

As Over backers, it makes plenty of sense to place this wager at any of the four best sports betting sites offering a total of 155.5 as opposed to the half-point higher line at DraftKings. This is especially good value since we are getting standard -110 odds at any of the four sportsbooks, where a winning $10 wager would pay out $19.09.

Though the Under has cashed in both of Auburn's SEC Tournament games and is 18-13 in its 31 games as a favorite, Florida has been one of the most profitable teams to the Over in the country, with the Over going 22-11-1 in its 34 games overall.

Florida vs. Auburn odds analysis

All of our best sports betting apps align with a point spread of Auburn -5.5. Caesars, bet365, and BetRivers are down a half-point from opening lines of -6, while FanDuel was the only shop to reach as lo w as -4.5 before returning to the original spread of -5.5. The underdog Gators have been a popular play so far, by attracting 63% of the early point spread wagers.

DraftKings is the only one of our best sportsbooks to move off of the opening total of 155.5 in either direction since Saturday night. Sixty-one percent of early wagers have backed the Over, but most oddsmakers likely see this as still solid two-way action for them not to have moved off their original numbers yet.
