FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Charles Schwab Challenge 2023 at Colonial Country Club

With the PGA Championship in the rearview and all the LIV golfers, including winner Brooks Koepka, heading back to the other tour, PGA Tour guys are preparing for the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Let's take a look at three golfers t o consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Charles Schwab Challenge 2023 Fantasy Picks

Scottie Scheffler is the favorite this week and for good reason: he's been more consistent than anyone on tour this year. He's coming off a T2 at the PGA Championship, losing only to a guy that won't be in this event. Scheffler was also the runner-up at this event last year. Being a Dallas area kid, Scheffler has plenty of knowledge and exposure to Colonial outside of his three PGA Tour starts here. In 14 starts this season on Tour, Scheffler has only placed outside the top-25 one time, which also includes 10 top-10 finishes and two wins. You're going to pay a premium for Scheffler this week, but if anyone is worth h is price tag here, it's him.

Tony Finau has proven he can compete at this course. He has placed in the top five in two of his last four starts and has only placed outside the top 30 once in seven starts. Heading into the event, he ranks Top-10 in Strokes Gained (SG): Tee-To-Green (4th), SG: Approach The Green (5th), and SG: Total (6th). He has two wins already this season, including less than a month ago at the Mexico Open. Expect him to be in contention once again at Colonial this week.

Charles Schwab Challenge Sleepers

I took Justin Rose as a sleeper last week for the PGA Championship and he delivered with a top-10 finish. I 'm expecting a similar performance from Rose here. He's coming into the event with three straight top-25 finishes, and he's got two top-five finishes in his last five starts.

He's also no stranger to Colonial; Rose won this event in 2018 and placed 3rd in 2020. Pair that with his game being in a great spot this week, and we should expect some great golf from the veteran Englishman.
