FanDuel’s commitment to sports betting in Washington D.C. grew Thursday.
Sports & Social DC officially opened its new FanDuel sports betting experience Thursday morning with several local celebrities on hand to place the first bets. The sports bar, which is in a prime location on U Street, now has FanDuel kiosks in its establishment, giving customers a chance to legally wager.
The opening expands FanDuel's retail sports betting footprint in Washington D.C. FanDuel also operates a retail sportsbook at Audi Field, a professional soccer venue.
FanDuel's connection with Sports & Social is a familiar one, as there are also FanDuel kiosks at a location in North Bethesda, Maryland. Sports & Social is operated by a division of the Cordish Companies.
