The Falcons did their very best to come back from a massive deficit against the Los Angeles Rams, but in the end, they just didn't have enough. To be fair, I really never thought that in the year 2022 I'd be seeing Marcus Mariota as the starter of an NFL team, but here we are. He isn't a franchise quarterback or someone that you are going to trust long-term, but he hasn't played poorly either. The defense has been bad, but the offense has been able to keep games close. In fact, despite Atlanta being 0-2 SU, they are 2-0 ATS. They are a much better team than people give them credit for, and to me, this line in the game is silly. The Falcons should have held on to win in Week 1 against New O rleans and they nearly came all the way back to win in Week 2 against Los Angeles.

This is the quintessential example of a team being better than what their record shows.
