I had such a good feeling about last night’s plays, and I’m extremely disappointed with how it all went down.
That said, with 13 NHL games, tonight brings a new opportunity and there are plenty of teams in action that I trust to get back in the win column.
NY Rangers at St. Louis (+140, 6.5)
The New York Rangers are coming off of back-to-back losses for only the second time this season, so to me, they’re the perfect bounce-back candidate tonight. The Rangers will be in St. Louis tonight, taking on a Blues team that has lost three out of their last five games.
Since Christmas, the Blues offense has been struggling mightily. In that span, they have been the second-worst scoring team in the NHL, only averaging 1.50 goals per game, while at the same time, their power play has been absolutely abysmal as they’re clicking at just a 5.6% rating. The Blues scored only one goal on the man-advantage in their last six games on a combined 18 attempts.
