It was an impressive start for the Billikens team that is expected to compete for the Atlantic 10 title as they have a lot of firepower back from last year's strong team. They were chucking threes in this game, draining 10 from long range.

Most of the damage from deep was done by two players, Javonte Perkins, who had 21 points with 4 threes, and Gibson Jimerson, who had 20 points with 4 threes of his own. Javon Pickett added 13 points and 13 rebounds while Francis Okoro had 3 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Then there was Yuri Collins who had 6 points and a nifty 13 assists. The Billikens have a really balanced good team and they should make some noise this year.
