The Washington Wizards hope to snap a three game losing streak Tuesday when they host the Detroit Pistons. The Wizards are 31-37 on the season while the Pistons have the worst record in the NBA. Washington is 2-0 against Detroit this season, eking out a 119-117 win at Detroit last week in their latest matchup. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. EST at the capital One Arena in Washington DC.
What can be said about the Pistons, other than the fact that they are the worst team in the Eastern Conference by a longshot but they are among the front runners in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes. He is, of course, the projected first pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Pistons rank 28th in the NBA in points per game with about 111 per contest and 29th in points allowed, giving up around 119 per game. And their injury list keeps growing to the point where it makes sense now to just list whose playing. And now add Marvin Bagley and Jaden Ivey to that long list of injuries. Their best players as of late have been James Wiseman, Killian Hayes, Jalen Duren, and Isaiah Livers.
