Deshaun Watson has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Wednesday.
“PJ [Walker] is going to start this week,” Stefanski said. “Deshaun is going to focus on his rehab. I just feel like with what happened in the game – landing on his shoulder – there is residual swelling that's affecting his throwing.”
Watson went down awkwardly during last week's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Initial speculation suggested that it could be a head injury, but it is clear that they are worried about his throwing shoulder.
