Derrick Henry projections 2022: Fantasy stats, betting odds, Tennessee Titans player profile, season outlook, simulations

At 6'3″, 247 pounds, running backs aren't supposed to fly like Derrick Henry has behind the Tennessee Titans' offensive line. The former Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama was fairly quiet for his first 2.5 seasons in the NFL before breaking out in late 2018. He then proceeded to lead the NFL in rushing in 2019 and 2020, averaging nearly 1,800 yards on the ground and 17 TDs.

Last year, in only eight games before sustaining a regular season-ending foot injury, Henry compiled 937 yards rushin g and 10 TDs. Had he stayed healthy, it's conceivable that he would've led many fantasy football owners to the promised land come their playoffs. Henry returned in January 2022 for the Divisional Playoff game against the Bengals, but was held to only three yards per carry by an upstart Cincinnati defense.

With the Titans having traded star wide receiver A.J. Brown in the offseason, Tennessee will try to become even more reliant on its rushing attack.

With concerns about his foot behind him, what can fantasy football owners expect from Derrick Henry this season? Should he be a strong consideration for the No. 1 pick in PPR and standard leagues? Find out where he ranks in our 2022 Fantasy Football Rankings.
