Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers – 11/27/22 NFL Picks and Prediction

The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers face off on Sunday in an NFL showdown at the Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers are having some major struggles this season and they sit with a 3-8 record overall. In the last game against the Baltimore Ravens the defense was good giving up only 13 points, but the offense could only manage three points. A big issue for this team has been the lack of solid quarterback play, and they are making another chance for this game. Baker Mayfield is being benched, and it will be Sam Darnold who is getting the start here. The last time Darnold lost was on January 9th against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers are averaging 18.8 points while their defense is giving up 23.3 points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is Denver who sits with a 3-7 record and they have gone 3-7 against the spread. In the last game against the Las Vegas Raiders, they forced overtime, but ended up losing 22-16. The team made the big trade for Russell Wilson this offseason, but he hasn’t lived up to the expectations. In the last game, he completed 24 of his 31 passes for 247 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The Panthers offense is averaging 14.7 points while their defense is giving up 17.1 points per game. The defense is ranked second in the NFL while the offense is ranked 32nd. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is dealing with an ankle injury and it’s unclear if he will be able to go in this game.
