Delaware (16-9 SU, 13-10-1 ATS, 8-4 CAA) travels to North Carolina to take on Elon (10-15 SU, 8-15 ATS, 3-9 CAA) on Thursday night at 7pmET.

These teams met twice last season with Delaware winning both, but covering just once. The Blue Hens have won nine of the last 10 outright agaisnt the Phoenix.

Delaware is tied with Towson, Drexel, and Hofstra at 8-4 in the CAA, which places them third behind 9-3 Charleston and UNCW. The Blue Hens have won four straight games, with two coming against 3-9 William & Mary, but in between they beat Monmouth by four and Towson 74-62 on Feb. 8 to break their 18-game home winning streak last Thursday. In their second win over the Tribe at home on Saturday, Christian Ray scored 13 points and grabbed a game-high 15 boards to lead the Blue Hens, while forward Jyare Davis led all scorers with 21 points and 10 boards. Delaware held the Tribe to just 39.3% from the field and shot 43.3% from the field. They outrebounded William & Mary 37-31 and forced 12 turnovers, while committing just six.

This is a pretty good Delaware squad that may be finally putting things together. They rank 136th overall according to KenPom with the 165th Adjusted Defensive Efficiency. Davis (6-7, 235) is one of the premier big men in the CAA, averaging 18.3 points and 7.7 rebounds on 47.2% shooting and 87.4% from the free throw line. Gerald Drumgoole Jr., an Albany transfer, adds 13.1 points and 4.1 rebounds on 43.9% shooting (38.2% 3pt).

Offensively, the Blue Hens average 75.6 points per game on 47.3% shooting (53rd) and 35.8% (93rd) from long range. They allow 69.7 points per game on 42.4% shooting (31.1% 3pt). They rank 163rd in rebound rate at 50.5%.
