1. Tyrrell Hatton (+2000)

Hatton ranks No. 2 in this field in Par 4 Efficiency for all yardages over his last 36 rounds. He also ranks top-12 in Greens in Regulation Gained and Birdies or Better Gained while joining featured Tommy Fleetwood as top-5 in Bogey Avoidance. The 31-year-old Englishman also ranks No. 1 in strokes gained Short Game, Putting, and top-8 in Tee-to-Green and Ball Striking. A former Dunhill Links champion, the temperamental Hatton has proven ability to adapt to the wind, slope, and course conditions including links. Hatton can improve on his three top-25 finishes here the last four years, and a better bet at longer odds next week at The Open Championship.

2. Lucas Herbert (+6000)

Aussie Lucas Herbert won the Irish Open in 2021 – the same year he finished T4 here at the Scottish Open shooting -17 under par. In 2020, Herbert also finished T4 here despite a third Round 79. He managed a pair of 65s in the 2021 event when rain and wind were a factor – which is likely the case again for this year's tournament. Herbert clearly likes The Renaissance Club, and he also had his best week Putting at the recent Travelers Championship gaining more than 6.0 strokes, and his Approach play was also the best it's been this year. Gaining confidence and better play heading to a course and conditions in which he's thrived. A Round 1 leader threat and a top-10 finish returns at near 7/1.

3. Ryan Fox (+7500)

Ryan Fox is another longshot who can outperform these odds. A fellow Australian like Herbert, Fox has seven top-30 finishes on the PGA Tour since March, and taking him to do so again on familiar terrain makes sense for those looking to profit from his solid Tee-to-Green and Approach play. Despite sub-par results on this course, consider that Fox won the Dunhill Links last October and you'll see he can beat the top players too.
