Creighton vs DePaul Prediction – Basketball Picks 3/4/23

The Creighton Blue Jays will head up to Chicago to face the DePaul Blue Demons in Big East play from the Wintrust Arena on FS1. Creighton leads the all-time series, 24-14, after all but one meeting since joining the Big East back in 2013.

Creighton moved to 19-11 following a home win over Georgetown. The Bluejays jumped on the Hoyas early, and they cruised to a 40-point win, 99-59. Creighton is scoring 76.3 ppg, while allowing 67.5 ppg, and shooting 47.1% from the field.

Creighton was successful in their home finale, and they’ll now look to spoil DePaul’s final home game this weekend. The Bluejays are 13-6 in Big East play, with a 4-6 record on the road. Ryan Kalkbrenner’s return changed the outlook of Creighton’s season, and the junior center leads the team in scoring (14.9), while grabbing 6.4 rpg. SDSU transfer Baylor Scheierman double-doubled in the win over Georgetown last time out, and he’s up to 13.0 ppg and a team-leading 8.2 rpg. Arthur Kaluma (12.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg) joins them up front, while sophomore guards Ryan Nembhard (11.7 ppg, 5.0 apg) and Trey Alexander (13.4 ppg) round out the starting five.
