Colorado vs. Boise State Prediction & March Madness Odds: Broncos Seek First Four Upset
Colorado vs. Boise State Prediction & March Madness Odds: Broncos Seek First Four Upsetiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Final Four play concludes Wednesday night with the Colorado Buffaloes meeting the Boise State Broncos, and we have you covered with our top Colorado vs. Boise State prediction based on the best March Madness odds with the last spot in the field of 64 up for grabs.

The Colorado Buffaloes (24-10, 13-7 Pac-12) saw their eight-game winning streak end with a 75-68 loss to Oregon in the Pac-12 Tournament championship. However, despite the setback, this marks the Buffaloes' return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021.

The Boise State Broncos (22-10, 13-5 Mountain West) are among the minority of NCAA Tournament teams that stumbled in their opening conference tournament game. Nevertheless, despite this setback, the Broncos hold an impressive non-conference victory against Saint Mary's. They also emerged victorious against NCAA Tournament-caliber opponents in two of their last three regular-season matchups and have a road victory against San Diego State, a remarkable feat given the Aztecs' formidable 29-2 home record since 2022.

As part of our March Madness predictions, here is our best Colorado vs. Boise State prediction and college basketball picks (odds via our best March Madness betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Colorado vs. Boise State odds

Colorado (No. 10) vs. Boise State (No. 10) prediction: South Region

Best odds: -108 via DraftKings

On one hand, the Mountain West did incredibly well to get six teams into the NCAA Tournament. But most of those teams have claims to being underseeded, as does Boise State being given a No. 10 seed and relegated to a play-in game.

Few teams have better positional size on the wings than the Broncos, who used their length all season to defend the 3-point line at the 23rd-best rate nationally while finishing with a top-five defensive rebounding percentage.

Colorado won only one game away from home against an NCAA Tournament team, and that was against Oregon, which made a miraculous run in the Pac-12 Tournament to win the league's automatic bid.

Buffaloes' point guard KJ Simpson ranked in the top eight in league play in the percentage of his team's possession and shots taken, but the Broncos have the perfect foil for him in Roddie Anderson, who ranked third in the Mountain West in steal percentage and is one of the most harassing on-ball defenders Simpson will see all season.

After losing in its opening round of the Mountain West Tournament, Boise State will have two extra days of rest compared to Colorado, which played on Saturday in its conference championship. That is significant, as the Broncos went 6-4 ATS with a rest advantage, while the Buffaloes went 6-10 ATS in games outside of Boulder this season.

Colorado vs. Boise State best odds

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars bet365
+2.5 +2.5 +2.5 +2.5 +2.5
-108 -110 -110 -110 -110

All five best sports betting sites offer +2.5. However, the pick of the crop is DraftKings, offering -108. With the -108 odds, a $10 wager would pay out $19.26. That's an implied probability of 51.92%.

FanDuel's odds shortened from -115 to -110 on Tuesday afternoon, while BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365 remained unchanged at -110. Four of the five best sports betting sites sit at -110.

We would pass on any number less than +2.5, so be sure to grab the two points with the hook while you can.
