Colorado State vs. Colorado spread analysis
For the second week in a row, the spread has seen quite an adjustment in a Colorado game. This time last week, the Buffaloes were considered 17-point favorites in the lookahead market, but are now laying more than three touchdowns following their win over the Cornhuskers.
Colorado opened as a 19.5-point favorite when betting lines were first released again on Sunday, but the market quickly pushed this spread past a key number.
The best number you can now get on the Buffs is at Circa, which has set the spread at 21.5. Circa's number is significant in this case, as that shop opened Colorado -5 in Week 2 and took only Nebraska bets early on.
Colorado changed its entire team after winning one game last year, which includes a new coaching staff and a huge transfer class. It's clear the market is still trying to figure out the proper power rating for the Buffs, and we recommend betting on variance until then.
Colorado State vs. Colorado total analysis
Because Week 3 totals have only been around since Sunday, we haven't seen as much movement on this number. FanDuel opened the total as low as 57.5, but that has been bet up to 59.5 as of this writing.
Colorado cleared the closing total of 63.5 in Week 1 with its thrilling 45-42 victory at TCU. The Buffs then held the Cornhuskers to just 14 points in a game that finished Under 56 in Week 2.
The Rams, meanwhile, gave up 50 points during a 50-24 loss to Washington State in the season opener. The total finished well above the closing line of 53.5. Colorado State is coming off a bye, which could factor into Sat urday's outcome on the total or spread.

Player props are not available as of Monday morning, which is likely due to the NFL returning.
While prop markets aren't usually released until later in the week, FanDuel had lines up for Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter on Sunday before last week's game against Nebraska. That was the best example of how much attention the Buffaloes are getting this season.
We would still expect Colorado player props to be released earlier than the rest of the board, despite this game being scheduled for 10 p.m. ET Saturday.
