College of Charleston at Elon – 2/16/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Charleston Cougars will cross the Carolina line to face the Elon Phoenix in Colonial League play from the Schar Center on FloSports. Charleston leads the all-time series, 24-9, after winning the last three meetings.

Charleston jumped to 25-3 after dispatching Northeastern at home. The Cougars put an offensive assault on the Huskies to down them by 36 points, 99-63. Charleston is scoring 81.1 points per game, while allowing 69.8 ppg, and shooting 44.3% from the floor.

Charleston has responded to their first pair of losses since November with four straight wins, and they’ll look to close the regular season strong. CoC is 10-2 in Colonial League play, with a 13-1 record on the road. Charleston scores at a high clip, and they’re one of the handful of teams in the country with five scorers averaging double figures. Senior guard Dalton Bolon scored 21 points in the first meeting with Elon, and he leads the Cougs in scoring at 12.9 ppg. Sophomore big Ante Brzovic has scored 23 points in two of the last three games, and he’s up to 11.3 ppg and a team-lead 5.5 rpg.
