College Basketball Player Props & Best Bets Today: Schedule, Picks for Tuesdayiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Tuesday's lineup of college basketball games is sneakily loaded and we're offering our top college basketball player props and best bets for Tuesday based on the best college basketball odds from our best March Madness betting sites.

After No. 2 Purdue dropped a game to Ohio State on Sunday, Monday brought even better college basketball games with No. 2 Houston getting its revenge on No. 6 Iowa State after a loss earlier in the season.

The madness continues Tuesday with a pair of top-25 matchups and a handful of other top-ranked teams set to take the court.

The highlight is clearly No. 1 UConn heading to Omaha to take on No. 15 Creighton. The Huskies have looked like the best team in the country all year, but if this season has shown anything, it's that the best are bound to fall when the country least expects it.

On the other side of the cou ntry, No. 11 Baylor has to deal with No. 25 BYU in Provo. This Cougars team isn't to be taken lightly even after dropping a game on the road at Oklahoma State. For fans of points, this will be the game to watch with both teams playing a high-flying brand of offense.

Here are our college basketball player props and best bets for Tuesday (college basketball picks based on odds via our best March Madness betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Tuesd ay's college basketball player props

In a year of uncertainty in college basketball, UConn has been the best program and has a real chance to repeat as national champions. The Huskies are the favorites by our latest March Madness odds, which is a credit to head coach Dan Hurley for reloading his roster after losing key pieces to the NBA.

One such piece has been Spencer, a Rutgers transfer who has brought jaw-dropping 3-point ability to Storrs. That range will be needed with a tough matchup against Creighton, which ranks 24th in adjusted defensive efficiency (per KenPom) but has allowed opponents to shoot 33.6% from three (168th).

Spencer is shooting 44.3% from three this season and leads UConn with 6.1 attempts per game. He also leads the team in points per game (15.2) and ranks fourth in the Big East in OBPR, per Evan Miyakawa, while scoring at least 15 points in 15 of 26 games this season. With his range, th e senior sharpshooter could be the difference in this Big East showdown.

It's been a down year for the Iowa Hawkeyes, whose defense has been one of the worst in the country. While Fran McCaffery's team is still capable of hanging points behind one of the fastest paces in the country, it simply cannot stop any opposing team in the Big Ten – especially not one with a prolific scorer like Walker.

The Michigan State senior has been the key to the Spartans staying afloat after a few early-season hiccups. Walker leads this team with 18.4 points per game and ranks ninth in the Big Ten in OBPR, and his sheer usage (15.2 shots per game) will lend well to him stuffing the stat sheet against the Hawkeyes.

Walker can have a field day against an Iowa defense that ranks 173rd in adjusted defensive efficiency and has allowed 78.3 points per game. It's been even worse in conference games, allowing a Big Ten-worst 80.7 points per game with opponents shooting 46.9% from the floor, 52.3% from two, and 33.2% from three.

Walker is in perfect position to have his 14th game of at least 19 points this season, and that's what makes the FanDuel line so valuable. Our other best sports betting sites have his line at 19.5 points and are offering it between -110 and -115. It's worth taking the line at -120 if it means needing one less point from Walker.

Tuesday's college basketball game picks

For fans of high-scoring games, Baylor vs. BYU is going to be a fun one. These are the two best offenses in the Big 12, with the Bears ranking fourth in adjusted offensive efficiency and the Cougars coming in at eighth. They also rank first and second, respectively, in OBPR among Big 12 teams.

Scott Drew's program has been inconsistent on the defensive end but has earned its top-25 ranking wit h a loaded lineup of scorers led by freshman phenom Ja'Kobe Walter. Baylor is putting up 83 points per game (21st) and ranks 15th in overall shooting (49.3%) and fourth in 3-point percentage (40.1%), and it boasts five players shooting at least three triples per game with four shooting over 39% from deep.

That'll be tough for the Cougars defense, which ranks 53rd in adjusted defensive efficiency and has surrendered 76.3 points per game in Big 12 games. Fortunately for Mark Pope's squad, BYU ranks in the top 20 nationally in scoring (83.4 PPG) and 2-point percentage (58.6%) thanks to a supersized lineup led by guard Jaxson Robinson (6-7) and forward Noah Waterman (6-11).

This game total is all over the place across our best sports betting apps, but FanDuel has it at just 153.5 at -115. That value stands out against a few of the other shops offering a total between 154 and 155 at -110.

It&# 39;s been a horrific year for Dennis Gates and Missouri after the former Cleveland State head coach took the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in his first season last year. Between Missouri's offensive struggles and Tennessee's defensive dominance, this could be a tough game to watch for Tigers faithful.

Missouri ranks just 138th in adjusted offensive efficiency and sits 11th in OBPR in the SEC while averaging 67.4 points per game in conference. The Tigers are shooting only 43.1% from the floor and 30.3% from three in SEC games and now must take on a Tennessee defense that holds teams to 67.2 points per game.

The Volunteers are fifth in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency and first in the SEC in DBPR, and they're holding teams to 38.5% shooting from the floor (fourth nationally), 43.4% from two (seventh), and 31% from three (56th). While Tennessee is capable of scoring with potential All-American Dalton Knecht leading t he offense, the Vols' defense is so good that they should be able to keep this one Under.

It helps that Missouri plays at a slow pace, ranking 227th in adjusted tempo, but Knecht's ability to explode is the reason why DraftKings is offering the game total as high as 148. That's a bonus for us, as the rest of our best sportsbooks have the game total between 146 and 147.5.
