College basketball expert picks and predictions

We’ve got 19 games on the betting board for college basketball as things start to return to some semblance of normalcy after the holidays. There were two games on Wednesday and zero games the two days prior, so hardwood handicappers have to be excited to see a bigger slate of games. As for me, I enjoyed a little R&R in Hawaii before returning here to the “9th Island” to get back into my rhythms and routines, so it’s back to the desk and to the grind.

Almost all of today’s games on the main board are conference clashes, so we’ve reached that point of the season. We’re seeing a lot of line moves based on strength of schedule discrepancies and will continue to see that as teams face opponents that they are more familiar with, though the transfer portal has changed virtually everything in college sports and a lot of rosters look different from the ones that squared off last season.
