The Colgate Raiders come into the NCAA Tournament as one of the hottest teams in the field. The Raiders have a nine-game winning streak and capped off a near-perfect season in the Patriot League with a 79-61 victory over Lafayette in the title game last Wednesday night. With the win, the Raiders earned their third consecutive Patriot League Basketball Championship. Keegan Records led the way with 21 points on an efficient 9-0f-10 shooting night. Records was one of five Colgate players in double figures on the night. Tucker Richardson earned the first triple-double in Colgate history with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in the win.

Colgate will not be lacking for tournament experience in this matchup, making its third consecutive appearance. The Raiders come in averaging nearly 79 points per game while shooting 51%, which is second in the country. The Raiders are shooting 41% from beyond the arc as well. On the defensive end, Colgate is allowing 69 points per game and allowing the opposition to shoot 45% from the field overall. The opposition is shooting 35% from 3pt range.
