Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-28-2022

The Cleveland Cavaliers (13-7, 12-7-2 ATS, 10-11 O/U) take on the Toronto Raptors (10-9, 11-8 ATS, 10-9 O/U) in an Eastern Conference battle on Monday night. The Cavaliers beat the Pistons on Sunday. The Raptors collected a home win against the Mavericks on Saturday. Toronto recorded a 108-105 home win in the lone meeting this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers conclude a three-game road trip on Monday night. They continue to excel, collecting the win in five out of their last six games highlighted by wins against the Hornets and Hawks. The only defeat in that six-game span was against the Bucks on Friday. The Cavaliers were large 8.5-point favorites in a 102-94 road win against the Pistons on Sunday night. They have not been able to cover the spread in any of their last five road bouts. 

Donovan Mitchell continues to dazzle. The 26-year-old shooting guard has accumulated at least 29 points in four consecutive games highlighted by a 34-point night against Portland. He has accrued an average of 30 PPG on the season. Mitchell scored 31 points against the Raptors last month. Darius Garland has been outstanding as well. The 22-year-old point guard has logged an average of 25 PPG this mont h and has increased his season average to 23 PPG on a 45% mark from the field. Evan Mobley has six double-doubles this month. The 21-year-old has filed an average of 14.5 PPG along with 8.5 RPG.

Cleveland has dropped five out of their last six road games. They are scoring an average of 114.2 points, landing them 11th. The offense has been inconsistent recently which continued on Sunday, shooting just 42.9%. The defense has been the key factor in many of their recent wins. They are conceding an average of only 107.4 points, placing them fifth in the NBA.
