The Cleveland Cavaliers (3-5; 2-6 ATS) are coming off Wednesday’s 128-120 loss at the Oklahoma City Thunder. Three days after that home victory over the Warriors, the Cavs started a four-game road trip on the wrong foot, allowing the Thunder to score at will. OKC went 12-for-28 from downtown and 28-for-30 from the free-throw line while forcing the Cavaliers into 20 turnovers.

Cleveland shot 50.6% from the field in Oklahoma City but made just nine of its 29 attempts from deep and missed ten of its 37 shots from the line. Donovan Mitchell went 1-for-9 from beyond the arc, finishing with 20 points and five assists, while Caris LeVert led the way with 29 points and five assists in 34 minutes off the bench.

“Our approach to start the game wasn’t good enough,&#x20 1D; Cleveland coach J.B. Bickerstaff said after his team surrendered 70 first-half points. “Where we were mentally and where our focus was wasn’t good enough. Coming out and not executing the game plan the way we did is disappointing.”

The Cavs have scored 115 or more points in three straight outings, but they are still notching just 108.8 points per 100 possessions (24th in the league) on 45.6% shooting from the field (22nd) and 32.2% from beyond the 3-point line (27th). On the other side of the ball, Cleveland ranks 15th in defensive efficiency (112.3 points per 100 possessions), 2nd in two-point percentage (49.1%), and 25th in 3-point percentage (38.4%).
