Chattanooga at Georgia – 12/21/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Chattanooga Mocs will head to Athens and face the Georgia Bulldogs in non-conference action this Wednesday from the Stegeman Coliseum on the SEC Network. Georgia and Chattanooga have faced off eight times since 1980, and the Bulldogs hold the all-time series lead 5-3.

Chattanooga is 7-3 after defeating Milwaukee at home last week. The Mocs used a huge first half to cruise to their third straight double digit win. Chattanooga is scoring 81.8 points per game, while allowing 68.4 ppg, and shooting 47.9% from the field.

VMI transfer Jake Stephens has come in and made an immediate impact for Chattanooga. The 7’ center gave in-state foe Belmont nightmares with a monster 32-point, 20-rebound performance last time out. Stephens has scored 26 points and hit three treys in six of his last seven games and he leads the Southern Conference in scoring (22.5) and rebounding (10.5). Auburn transfer Jamal Johnson (11.3 ppg) should get up for this game, and he’s reached double figures in each of the last four games.
