Celtics vs. Knicks Odds, Picks, Predictions: Can Randle Lead New York Past Boston Again?iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Julius Randle scored 37 points to help the New York Knicks defeat the Boston Celtics last month. Can the Knicks' big man lead his team to another upset tonight? Read on for our Celtics vs. Knicks NBA picks based on the best NBA odds.

The surging Knicks seek another statement victory when they host the Celtics in a potential playoff preview at Madison Square Garden. New York has moved up to sixth place in the East after winning seven of its last eight games and 10 of 14, including a 120-117 OT win when these teams met a month ago in Boston.

The Celtics are just as hot, going 9-2 since that loss to the Knicks. However, Boston will be without star Jaylen Brown tonight and has needed to rally from double-digit deficits in each of its last two games.

Here is our best Celtics vs. Knicks NBA pick (odds via Caesars; pick confidence based on a 1 -to-5-star scale).

Celtics vs. Knicks pick

The Knicks' star forward is in prime form right now, scoring 74 points in New York's last two games and eclipsing his points prop in four of his last six outings. Randle has also put up big scoring numbers in recent clashes with the Celtics, scoring 29 and 37 in the two matchups this season and averaging 28.5 points in last season's two meetings at MSG.

As good as the Celtics' frontcourt is defensively, they've been vulnerable lately. Boston allowed Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris to combine for 60 points on 20-of-33 shooting in Saturday's narrow victory at Philadelphia, and the Celtics haven't held an opponent under 107 points in six straight games – going Over the total in five of those contests.

Oddsmakers are projecting an average performance from Randle tonight, setting this prop just slightly higher than his 25.2 points-per-game average on the season. Given the significance of this contest and Randle's recent success against Boston, we should be able to expect a better-than-average outing from New York's big man tonight.

Celtics vs. Knicks odds analysis

DraftKings' look-ahead line made the Celtics a 5-point road favorite in this matchup, but that line quickly dropped once news broke that Jaylen Brown would be sitting out the contest due to personal reasons. Even though Boston is 10-1 ATS this season without its star scorer in the lineup, the Celtics had dropped to 2-point chalk by the time of writing.

The total has also seen a significant move since DraftKings opened it at 226, dropping to 223.5 overnight. If you like the Under, you could still find a 224 at FanDuel as of Monday morning.
