Vergara vs Da Silva Prediction

This showdown is between two flyweight fighters who are desperate for a win. On one hand, C.J. Veragara has lost twice in three fights for the first time in his career. He missed weight in his outing against Tatsuro Taira, which he eventually lost by submission in the third round.

On the other hand, Daniel da Silva has struggled to hang in the UFC, losing his first three fights in the promotion. Even worse is that da Silva was finished in each outing, losing twice by TKO and once by submission. Adding insult to injury is the fact that he couldn't even last longer than 46 secon ds into Round 2 in each contest.

Da Silva simply cannot be trusted due to his putrid UFC resume. Vergara might not be a shining example of consistency, but he's still won twice since joining the company. Considering how he's finished five of his last eight opponents, I see Vergara capitalizing on his opponent's vulnerability.

Vergara vs Da Silva Best Bet

With da Silva struggling to stay on his feet, the best bet here is to back Vergara by KO/TKO at -140 odds. After all, five of Vergara's last six wins have come by KO/TKO and now he gets to face da Silva, who's coming off a first-round knockou t loss. It's a no-brainer.

If you're looking for even more value, I like Vergara by knockout in Round 1 at +190 as well. Da Silva hasn't been able to even reach the halfway point of his first three UFC bouts. Unless his game plan has completely changed, I could see that trend continuing.
