Jayson Tatum has graduated past the “but he's only 19” jokes and is now “humbly” one of the best players in basketball.'
While this is self-described, it is also not entirely false. He led a Celtics team that finished the year just short of the Finals this year, but that was after a regular season in which they impressed and finished with a record of 57-25.'
And Tatum finished fourth in the MVP race this year, the highest he has finished in his career. He ended the season with 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. And he's only getting better. So it isn't out of the question he could have a complete breakout season next year and earn MVP honors.'
