Buckeyes Get Significant Miyan Williams and Jaxon Smith-Njigba Injury Updates Ahead of Big Matchup With Michigan

The Ohio State Buckeyes are preparing for their biggest game in a long time. The hated Michigan Wolverines are coming to Columbus for a game that will decide which one of them heads to the College Football Playoff.

Miyan Williams Injury Update

The Buckeyes are currently the No. 2 team in the country, while the Wolverines are at No. 3. Ohio State did get a huge boost ahead of the noon matchup with running back Miyan Williams' latest injury update.

The star tailback will be active for the game, providing the Buckeyes with his team-leading rushing ability.

Williams leads all Buckeyes ball carriers with 783 rushing yards this season, and he's done it to the impressive tune of 6.7 yards per carry, which ranks No. 5 in the nation.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Injury Update

Williams will be an even more significant part of Ohio State's offense on Saturday as it will be without star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Williams' backfield mate TreVeyon Henderson.

Currently, the Buckeyes are 8.5-point home favorites against the Wolverines on Saturday, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NCAAF odds.
