Even more surprising, after not allowing a shorthanded goal all season, Boston gave up its second in two games to Detroit. Backup goalie Jeremy Swayman stopped 21 of 25 shots for the Bruins. Detroit's fifth and final goal was an empty-net goal. David Pastrnak added his team-leading 46th goal in the loss.
