Kansas State is suddenly playing some great football, as the Wildcats have won and covered in three consecutive games. That means that this game could come down to the performance of Texas backup quarterback Maalik Murphy. If he can successfully throw against soft coverages, the Longhorns will likely cover here. But it should be noted that Kansas State is 15-6 against the spread over the last two seasons.
